Feeling very fortunate to have been accepted for a residency at Linkshouse, Orkney, a joint venture with the Pier Arts Centre. The inspiring work of Victoria Crowe that emerged from her time in this same place was one driving force in my application. Now I try to forge a path so that I can make the very best of this opportunity. As a start I am gathering and using material from past visits to Orkney (and time at the Pier and at the Loft Gallery).
